Assalamualaikum, I'm a Malay youngster living somewhere in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. I'm writing this blog due to my concern about the turmoil which had risen lately among the Malay community. Being a youngster myself, therefore I would like to emphasize my writings on Malay's youngsters. In my opinion they are not tomorrow's leader. Not everyone can be a leader. If everyone wants to be the leader it will cause some more trouble then. Some need to follow. So I feel that youngsters are the building units of tomorrow. Every single unit is important.
Most of our youngsters today have third class mentality. Thus I'm hoping that we can change our mentality to a better one. The reason why we are left behind by other races in so many aspects is the difference between our mentality and theirs. I'll mention what are the differences in my future posts. I believe if we were to have mentality like theirs, we will face no trouble competing with them in any aspects. Like a Malay saying which goes like this, "berdiri sama tinggi, duduk sama rendah."
